Benê Alagoano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Negri having to make a save. If Benê Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Róbson Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubens Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbson Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Moraes in the 11th minute of play forced Cerrado's goalkeeper Rubens Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbson Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubens Donato having to make a save. After 29 played minutes Mandu SC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir de Andrade. Ismael Almeida's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cássio Negri firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cássio Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Alagoano in the 41st minute of play. Cássio Negri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benê Alagoano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Benê Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubens Donato came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Mandu SC's David Arruda. But to his dismay, David Arruda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When David Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Mandu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Arruda couldn't finish the play. If Ismael Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrado's goalkeeper Rubens Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Róbson Moraes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rubens Donato. The goal made the score 1-2. Lúcio Luz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Mandu SC's Róbson Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubens Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Mandu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Almeida came free, but Cássio Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mandu SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
