Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luisinho Ferraz kicked off to start the match. Marquinhos de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias de Sena having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Samambaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Seco to maneuver through the defense. Léo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Luisinho Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquinhos de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias de Sena having to interfere. When Luisinho Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Samambaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Ferraz couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Silvinho Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samambaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Chalana getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. João Vítor Coutinho hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Chalana's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Vasconcelos came free, but Jeremias de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Téo Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquinhos de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jeremias de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisinho Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jeremias de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samambaia. Jeremias de Sena made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Luisinho Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. After 44 played minutes Chalana got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Baiano. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Barbosas short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Léo Siqueira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Samambaia getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Reginaldo Teixeira hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Samambaia's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Tepedino came free, but Léo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Téo Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Léo Siqueira made a huge save. After 68 minutes, Luisinho Ferraz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chalana's Jeremias de Sena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marquinhos de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Samambaia booed when Chalana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Luisinho Ferraz sped through Chalana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremias de Sena. Claudinho Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Ferraz in the 92nd minute of play forced Chalana's goalkeeper Jeremias de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reginaldo Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jeremias de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Ferraz in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias de Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samambaia's Nico Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samambaia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
