José Pedro da Silveira hit a great ball. Rui Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Pedro da Silveira's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 8 minutes, Dida Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaccacahy and the Timgui players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute José Pedro da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro da Silveira in the 17th minute of play. If José Pedro da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Maciel in the 31st minute of play forced Vaccacahy's goalkeeper Rui Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Horácio Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaccacahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gabriel Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Rocha having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Gabriel Maciel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

José Pedro da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rui Rocha made a huge save. If Silvério Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, José Pedro da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guilherme Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredão Bezerra hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Timgui's José Pedro da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Timgui's José Pedro da Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Horácio Sampaio scored 2-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Timgui walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
