Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo Coutinho kicked off to start the match. Osvaldo Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canario AD's goalkeeper Júlio Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Canario AD got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Quadros. In the 12thth minute of the game Adrianinho Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canario AD's Júlio Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Dalmo dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canario AD's goalkeeper Júlio Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oficial American Club's Osvaldo Coutinho suffered a concussion after 30 minutes and had to leave the field. Luiz Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Canario AD's Júlio Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Ortiz in the 33rd minute of play. If Nestor de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Adrianinho Monteiro made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Vidal. Canario AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Adrianinho Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aílton Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aílton Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Aílton Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Conrado de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Ramos in the 62nd minute of play forced Canario AD's goalkeeper Júlio Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Castro in the 63rd minute of play forced Oficial American Club's goalkeeper Conrado de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Sandro Castro made a precise shot to the right of Conrado de Salles. Oficial American Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Conrado de Salles came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Canario AD's Sandro Castro. But to his dismay, Sandro Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dalmo dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrianinho Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Oficial American Club's Adrianinho Monteiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Oficial American Club booed when Canario AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Canario AD's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Monteiro came free, but Júlio Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmo dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianinho Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Júlio Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nestor de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Oficial American Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Adrianinho Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Germano Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Monteiro in the 93rd minute of play forced Canario AD's goalkeeper Júlio Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Adrianinho Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oficial American Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canario AD the free kick. Adrianinho Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Oficial American Club were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Canario AD to leave the ground with a draw.
