Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrício Prado started the match with the kick off. Norberto Xavier took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Fernandez. Rafael Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rafael Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Castro in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Tebas getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Albertino Albuquerque hit a great ball. Norberto Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Fernandez having to interfere. Valdomiro Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Júlio Vidal. Canario AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Canario AD's Júlio Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Canario AD from getting a goal against them. Canario AD's Norberto Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberto Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Fernandez having to interfere. Júlio Vidal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrício Prado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Albuquerque in the 38th minute of play forced Canario AD's goalkeeper Júlio Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Tebas got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Valladares. Rafael Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Xavier's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Canario AD's Júlio Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Prado in the 51st minute of play. Rafael Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Castro in the 56th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 63rd minute when Patrício Prado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Norberto Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Tebas's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Castro came free, but Rafael Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Canario AD's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Prado came free, but Júlio Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sandro Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Aílton Lago made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Fernandez. Tebas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 95 minutes into the match, Tebas's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Castro came free, but Rafael Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
