Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Pinheiro in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maicon Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tostão da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Palmeira having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Tostão da Costa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Derribadinha's Cristian Palmeira. Cristian Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Derribadinha's Cristian Palmeira got control of the ball when Tostão da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Duarte Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Tostão da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Duarte Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derribadinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Leme Chargers's Luís Paulo da Cunha got a free kick in the 26th minute. Maicon Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Pinheiro in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Vicente Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leme Chargers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Tostão da Costa sent off a good shot on target. Derribadinha's Duarte Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaká Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Leme Chargers getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dráusio Simão hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes Patrício Meira scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Maicon Vieira who was too lazy, 1-1. Dário Maciel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Leme Chargers's Tostão da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maicon Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duarte Mota in the 63rd minute. 71 minutes into the match, Leme Chargers's goalkeeper Maicon Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte Mota. When Derribadinha's Kaká Pinheiro in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leme Chargers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute, Kaká Pinheiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maicon Vieira, passed just outside the right post. Maicon Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Derribadinha's goalkeeper Cristian Palmeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kaká Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Maicon Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Derribadinha's Otávio Ceresso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maicon Vieira but with some difficulty. The long shot by Amauri Faustino in the 97th minute really tested Maicon Vieira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
