The supporters of RMH FC booed when Dula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agenor Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dênis Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cristian Esteves hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Bebeto Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toninho Silva's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Márcio de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Dênis Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dula. After 15 minutes of play, Dula's Márcio de Medeiros made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dênis Breckenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Dula's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zé Pedro Vides fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 27th minute, RMH FC's Toninho Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bebeto Palmeira. Bebeto Palmeira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Toninho Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Bebeto Palmeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dula's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Toninho Silva scored to the left of an out of position Bebeto Palmeira, making the score, 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Telmo Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toninho Silva in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bebeto Palmeira saved Dula from getting behind. In the 64th match minute, Dula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agenor Silva to maneuver through the defense. RMH FC's Dênis Breckenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save RMH FC from getting a goal against them. Toninho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bebeto Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Toninho Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Esteves in the 81st minute of play. If Doriva Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmílson Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Dula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agenor Silva to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
