Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Narciso Brito took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Praia got a freekick which was hit by Délio Alvarenga. Sílvio Luís Rosado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Júlio Sá. Sílvio Luís Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Araújo in the 9th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Praia got a freekick which was hit by Oscar da Fonseca. In the 11th minute of the match Júlio Sá sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luís Rosado skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Narciso Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Praia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 played minutes Oleo got a freekick which was hit by Régis Carneiro. After 25 played minutes, Praia's Délio Alvarenga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alessandro da Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Praia reached it. Cipriano Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro da Costa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Brito in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 played minutes Oleo got a freekick which was hit by Régis Carneiro. In the 40th minute of the match Benê Fontes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro da Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cipriano Souto struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Alessandro da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praia. 44 minutes into the game, one of Praia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raí Araújo was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Cipriano Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raí Araújo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Oleo getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Willian Arósio hit a great ball. Alessandro da Costa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cipriano Souto sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Souto in the 65th minute. Cipriano Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Alessandro da Costa made a huge save. Oleo's Raí Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Quintal in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Luís Rosado saved Praia from getting behind. Cipriano Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Souto got free with Alessandro da Costa in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Araújo in the 81st minute of play forced Praia's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luís Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Praia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Sá succeeded in the game's 86th minute to get real power on a long shot . Praia's Sílvio Luís Rosado hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 3-1! Raí Araújo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Luís Rosado having to make a save. Sílvio Luís Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
