The supporters of Chiniqua booed when Estopa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, André Maia made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Penha. Estopa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 11 minutes, Gildo Aguiar made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Estopa's Edgar Penha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. André Maia scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geovânio Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Alvarenga in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Aguiar in the 35th minute of play forced Estopa's goalkeeper Edgar Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Estopa defense, André Maia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Penha. The Estopa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Penha should have stopped the shot. The Estopa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chiniqua were winning 0-5.
51 minutes into the match, Estopa's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Aguiar came free, but Edgar Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, one of Estopa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dorian das Neves shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. André Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Penha having to interfere. André Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Edgar Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiniqua's André Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vágner Luz during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgar Penha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dorian das Neves. Gildo Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Penha having to interfere. André Maia scored 0-6 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geovânio Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Pitta in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, André Maia made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Penha. Estopa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. André Maia struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Edgar Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiniqua. In the 88th minute of the match, André Maia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgar Penha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edgar Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Aguiar in the 90th minute of play. Edgar Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Aguiar in the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estopa's Jeremias Xavier got a free kick in the 94th minute. Gildo Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gildo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiniqua's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
