Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Perivaldo França kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Rincao AD got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Fernandez. Luiz Paulo Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Adrianinho Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rincao AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrianinho Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Estopa's zone, Perivaldo França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Penha came out of the goal and Perivaldo França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Perivaldo França had to leave the field with a concussion. 17 minutes into the game, Abelardo Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estopa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rincao AD the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Estopa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rincao AD:s goal. The referee gave Rincao AD a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eugênio Castro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Estopa's Edgar Penha. 1-0. Giuseppe Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute Jeremias Xavier suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrianinho Fernandez during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Rincao AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Estopa's Júlio Arantes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Américo Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Giuseppe Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Giuseppe Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Edgar Penha made a huge save. A collision led to Rincao AD getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Américo Galvão hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Pitta was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Giuseppe Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rincao AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Júlio Arantes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rincao AD's Mazinho Hames got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lucas Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrão Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Pitta in the 70th minute. Lucas Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pedrão Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estopa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eugênio Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Rincao AD's players had a chance to rest. Rincao AD's Eugênio Castro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgar Penha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedrão Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Pitta in the 81st minute. The Estopa fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Estopa's Lucas Pitta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Lucas Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Estopa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Pitta couldn't finish the play.
