Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Norberto Messias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nicolas Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raí Gaúcho charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raí Gaúcho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Passos FC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Gaúcho. Umberto Catarinense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Passos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Pombal came free, but Germano Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norberto Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Passos FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Doriva Tasso hit a great ball. A hard shot 27 in the game by Túlio Cearense from a close distance when the talented Narciso Vinhas managed to make a qualified save. Catingal AD's players were relieved. In the 31st minute, Túlio Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Messias in the 32nd minute of play forced Catingal AD's goalkeeper Narciso Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Passos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Barbosa in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Passos FC's Raí Gaúcho got a free kick in the 36th minute. Túlio Cearense in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Narciso Vinhas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jonathan Pombal made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Norberto Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Passos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Barros having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Túlio Cearense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Passos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 60 minutes into the game, Umberto Catarinense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catingal AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Passos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Catingal AD's Umberto Catarinense got a free kick in the 60th minute. Narciso Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Barbosa got free with Germano Barros in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Messias in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Vinhas saved Catingal AD from getting behind. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Catingal AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doriva Tasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Passos FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Jânio Nóbrega drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind Catingal AD's goalkeeper. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Passos during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ronaldo Passos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Catingal AD's zone, Norberto Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Vinhas came out of the goal and Norberto Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Norberto Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Passos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 87 minutes into the game, Túlio Cearense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Narciso Vinhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Passos FC's Túlio Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Passos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
