Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Norberto Messias kicked off to start the match. Norberto Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Luís Eduardo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Túlio Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Messias in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Eduardo Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germano Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Tróia in the 11th minute of play. Túlio Cearense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo Chaves having to make a save. Luís Eduardo Chaves came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Passos FC's Norberto Messias. But to his dismay, Norberto Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Jacinto FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ademar Zilles hit a great ball. Túlio Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Jacinto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Galvão to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Doriva Tasso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jacinto FC's Luís Eduardo Chaves didn't even have to move. After having played for 37 minutes, Túlio Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 minutes, Víktor Quadros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacinto FC and the Passos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Túlio Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Chaves having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Norberto Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Jacinto FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Passos FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgílio Tróia to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Norberto Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Eduardo Chaves made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Túlio Cearense sent off a good shot on target. Luís Eduardo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Raí Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Passos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacinto FC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Passos FC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Gaúcho. Túlio Cearense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Luís Eduardo Chaves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Virgílio Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Passos FC's Germano Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 78 played minutes Passos FC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Gaúcho. 79 minutes into the game, Virgílio Tróia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Germano Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute Agnaldo Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jacinto FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Passos FC had controlled the match.
