Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chico Quaresma took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luiz Guilherme Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Sílvio Linhares sent off a good shot on target. Pedrão Meirelles hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Mauro Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Reynaldo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Reynaldo Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Ribeiro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Ceresso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natã Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Chico Quaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Manuel Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Chico Quaresma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Luiz Guilherme Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Meirelles in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. Bauta SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chico Quaresma 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. When Reynaldo Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Bauta SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Bauta SC's Sílvio Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bauta SC's Manuel Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Bauta SC from getting a goal against them. After 72 minutes, Narciso Urbano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bauta SC and the Mafrense EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Manuel Freitas managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Mafrense EC's Natã Fontes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bauta SC's Manuel Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Bauta SC from getting a goal against them. If Reynaldo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Linhares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Guilherme Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 87th play minutes Sílvio Linhares shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Luiz Guilherme Ceresso and just under the crossbar into goal. Fernandinho Freire hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Ribeiro in the 97th minute of play forced Mafrense EC's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
