Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerônimo Romero got the match started through his kick off. Thiago de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Tinoco in the 3rd minute of play. Thiago de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerônimo Romero's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jerônimo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mauriti's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerônimo Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinei Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Thiago de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mauriti. Artur Castro hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Matias EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Guedes to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes, Mauriti's Daniel de Castro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago de Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mauriti reached it. Jerônimo Romero scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago de Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dinei Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago de Mendonça having to interfere. Dinei Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Romero in the 23rd minute of play. Diamantino Santana hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Leite in the 34th minute of play forced Mauriti's goalkeeper Daniel Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Guedes's late challenge caught a Mauriti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Matias EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Dinei Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago de Mendonça having to interfere. When Willian da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matias EC's protests and gave Willian da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Jerônimo Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 49 minutes into the match, Mauriti's Daniel de Castro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gugu Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Mauriti's Jerônimo Romero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago de Mendonça. Thiago de Mendonça yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 61st minute, Clóvis de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Matias EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Romero came free, but Thiago de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Dinei Tinoco lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Thiago de Mendonça. Dinei Tinoco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Thiago de Mendonça made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tião Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matias EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tião Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelinho Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, Matias EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian da Costa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Matias EC's zone, Dinei Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago de Mendonça came out of the goal and Dinei Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Matias EC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Narciso Guedes hit a great ball.
