The supporters of Majaratuba booed when Caiary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Majaratuba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Majaratuba's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Paiva came free, but Mathias Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Marquez having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Majaratuba's goalkeeper Mathias Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Félix. A collision led to Caiary getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Marquinhos Arósio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernandes in the 33rd minute of play forced Caiary's goalkeeper Iuri de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Allan Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carlos Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Majaratuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernandes couldn't finish the play. Allan Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Mathias Marquez made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Caiary's Allan Félix slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathias Marquez. That made the score 1-1 after 46 minutes of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Majaratuba's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Paiva came free, but Mathias Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedé Lopes's late challenge caught a Caiary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedé Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. Célio Cavalcante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mathias Marquez. Majaratuba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rafael Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caiary's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caiary's Rafael Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Rafael Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Marquez having to interfere. Rafael Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Paiva in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caiary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Majaratuba's Bernardo Baptista got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Iuri de Senna. After a rather tough play, Majaratuba's Felipe Fernandez got a free kick in the 87th minute. The Caiary supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Majaratuba's performance. The match ended with a win for Majaratuba.
