Enéas Félix who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Juvenal Simões when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Juvenal Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Pinheiro in the 10th minute of the match. Juvenal Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Fellipe Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jacuitinga! 20 minutes into the game, Marcelo Moura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Durval de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enéas Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The referee showed Frederico Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 38 minutes into the match, Caraguatei's goal looked a bit too open when Rony de Sena came free, but Durval de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Félixs short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Juvenal Simões to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcelo Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 94th minute, one of Jacuitinga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jacuitinga. Caraguatei walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
