With a little luck, GUARANI FC's Nilson Romero got control of the ball when João Adolfo Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fiori Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Fiori Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GUARANI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiori Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Costa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Romero saved GUARANI FC from getting behind. Samuel Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Romero having to interfere. Fiori Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kiko Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiori Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Tande having to interfere. Fiori Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Pedro Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, João Adolfo Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as GUARANI FC's Fiori Hermes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kiko Tande. That made the score 0-1 after 54 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, GUARANI FC's Fiori Hermes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Costa in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Romero saved GUARANI FC from getting behind. In the 66th minute João Adolfo Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fiori Hermes in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kiko Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei de Sena during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Mota got free with Kiko Tande in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Curapaity SS's João Adolfo Dantas in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
