Mucaja's José Vítor Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Gil Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. The supporters of Mucaja booed when Camaragibe SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Christiano Borges kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Hoffmann. That made the score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. Christiano Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Paulo Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Nóbrega in the 54th minute of play forced Camaragibe SS's goalkeeper Jonas Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If José Vítor Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Bernardinho Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Camaragibe SS's Cido Pinho. But to his dismay, Cido Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Camaragibe SS's Jonas Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Nóbrega in the 72nd minute of play. When Emerson Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camaragibe SS's protests and gave Emerson Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Camaragibe SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Nóbrega in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Ricardo Nóbrega fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonas Breckenfeld, passed just outside the right post. If José Vítor Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christiano Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Camaragibe SS's Cido Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 90th minute, Baltazar Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Camaragibe SS getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gil Galvão hit a great ball. Camaragibe SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
