In the 22nd match minute, Maruas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Diniz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aleandro Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Correia having to interfere. Vivaldo de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.
