The referee showed Rodrigo de Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Gaucho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Pedrão Garcia didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gaucho SS's Enio Cruz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Neves made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Coxipozinho's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Quintal came free, but Pedrão Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrão Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When João Paulo Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaucho SS's protests and gave João Paulo Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gaucho SS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. João Paulo Koehler hit a great ball. Enio Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Adolfo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pedrão Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gaucho SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coxipozinho had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
