In the 29th minute Dalmo Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benê de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benê de Amaral was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Piracema FC's Claudinei de Souza got a free kick in the 55th minute. Piracema FC's Benê de Amaral managed to work through Extraccao SS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Benê de Amaral dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 61st play minute Dalmo Cosme came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Augusto Cosme. 0-1. 77 minutes into the match, Dalmo Cosme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Augusto Cosme. Extraccao SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmo Cosme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
