Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benjamin Rodrigues got the match started through his kick off. TRY's Jonathan Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Rodrigues in the 4th minute of play. Maracaibo's Adrianinho Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 10 minutes, Natanael Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 played minutes Maracaibo got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Veiga. Claudinho da Silveira, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Giovani Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Hoffmann having to interfere. Giovani Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Álvaro Hoffmann made a huge save. Natanael Simão might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natanael Simão ran back to his position shaking his head. Álvaro Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Simão in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Benjamin Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Giovani Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovani Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Natanael Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natanael Simão made a kick off. TRY's Giovani Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giovani Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Hoffmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maracaibo's zone, Giovani Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Hoffmann came out of the goal and Giovani Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléber Leite's late challenge caught a Maracaibo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléber Leite helped the player get up and apologised. Kléber Leite hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Natanael Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Cristóvão Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Giovani Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natanael Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adrianinho Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovani Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TRY's Giovani Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Ernesto Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Claudinho da Silveira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maracaibo's Álvaro Hoffmann didn't even have to move. Giovani Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho da Silveira's late challenge caught a Maracaibo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th match minute, Maracaibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. TRY's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
