Porco Futebol clube's Otávio Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho de Andrade in the 34th minute of play. Otávio Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho de Andrade in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Porco Futebol clube's zone, Fred Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Ferreira came out of the goal and Fred Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedrinho de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Otávio Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandarra. 41 minutes into the match, Pedrinho de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Ferreira. Porco Futebol clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho de Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doriva Catarinense in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carlos Carioca saved Bandarra from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrinho de Andrade to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bandarra's Tomé Alagoano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Bandarra defense, Joaquim Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Carioca. The Bandarra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Carioca should have stopped the shot. After 81 played minutes Bandarra got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Alagoano. If Pedrinho de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porco Futebol clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
