When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleandro Simões made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Alvareda AD's zone, Claudinho Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Veloso came out of the goal and Claudinho Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Aleandro Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joélson Messias was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Claudinho Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Arósio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Aleandro Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joélson Messias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aleandro Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. Caramuru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Alvareda AD had won, even though Caramuru had held more of the ball.
