Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chiquinho Recife kicked off to start the match. Arlindo Félix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dida Passos's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Herculanea's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Falcão Brasil fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Itaguatins's zone, Dida Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Félix came out of the goal and Dida Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuca Porto made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Falcão Brasil sent off a good shot on target. After 17 played minutes Herculanea got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Santana. 22 minutes into the match, Herculanea's Dida Passos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arlindo Félix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jarbas Leite's late challenge caught a Itaguatins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Leite helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Herculanea getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jarbas Leite hit a great ball. Alex Pombal hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Samuca Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Recife in the 36th minute of the match. Dida Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dida Passos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dida Passos struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Arlindo Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herculanea. Falcão Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuca Porto having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Herculanea's Alexandre Santana got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Itaguatins's Falcão Brasil made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuca Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuca Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Recife in the 68th minute of the match. Chiquinho Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Samuca Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Félix having to interfere. Arlindo Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Paranaense in the 78th minute. Samuca Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falcão Brasil's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, one of Herculanea:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 89th match minute, Itaguatins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Dida Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Félix having to interfere. Nicolas Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Itaguatins's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
