The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaltino Brito was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Jajuaryahiva AD's zone, Alessandro Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Velasco came out of the goal and Alessandro Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulisses Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Inambu SS booed when Jajuaryahiva AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulisses Baptista scored 0-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarbas Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
