Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isaltino Brito started the match with the kick off. Jajuaryahiva AD's Jarbas Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Jajuaryahiva AD from getting a goal against them. Zeca Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Léo Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustão Oliveira shot from long distance in the 11th minute, but Jarbas Velasco was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Ramalho got free with Jarbas Velasco in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Léo Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaltino Brito went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jajuaryahiva AD's Jarbas Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Jajuaryahiva AD from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Costa got in the 24th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jarbas Velasco handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Sérgio Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jajuaryahiva AD's protests and gave Sérgio Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Sérgio Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarbas Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Ricardo Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jarbas Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeca Simão in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léo Montenegro saved Pyrenopolis FC from getting behind. The supporters of Jajuaryahiva AD booed when Pyrenopolis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Costa was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jajuaryahiva AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Walmyr Campidelis was slow to take the kick. During this time Pyrenopolis FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 56th minute, Luís Fabiano de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jarbas Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pyrenopolis FC. Isaltino Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jajuaryahiva AD's zone, Ricardo Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Velasco came out of the goal and Ricardo Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 minutes, Zeca Simão made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pyrenopolis FC's Léo Montenegro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Isaltino Brito came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Jajuaryahiva AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaltino Brito couldn't finish the play. Léo Montenegro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Jajuaryahiva AD's Zeca Simão. But to his dismay, Zeca Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Pyrenopolis FC's Nelson Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarbas Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Costa in the 84th minute of play. Ricardo Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Cosme in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarbas Velasco saved Jajuaryahiva AD from getting behind.
