Jarbas Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Paulas's Gilmar Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Jarbas Velasco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 88 minutes into the game, Jânio Bertassi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jarbas Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Jajuaryahiva AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paulas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
