Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ricardinho Mumbach started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Fundoes's Ricardinho Mumbach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilmar de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Manfredo Xavier's late challenge caught a Mandii FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfredo Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fundoes getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Manfredo Xavier hit a great ball. Luizinho Meira charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizinho Meira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Fundoes got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Meira. After a defensive mix-up in Fundoes's zone, Luiz Fernando Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco dos Santos came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Luiz Fernando Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Fundoes's Francisco dos Santos got control of the ball when Luiz Fernando Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manfredo Xavier might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilmar de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfredo Xavier ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Mumbach in the 32nd minute of play forced Mandii FC's goalkeeper Nilmar de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Luiz Fernando Leal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco dos Santos. Fundoes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fernando Leal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Fundoes's Manfredo Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nilmar de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Mumbach in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Mumbach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Nilmar de Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nilmar de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Mumbach in the 53rd minute of play. Ricardinho Mumbach might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilmar de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardinho Mumbach ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 59 minutes, Ricardinho Mumbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fundoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Mumbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfredo Xavier scored 2-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilmar de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardinho Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Mandii FC's Rômulo Meira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Ricardinho Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nilmar de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Nilmar de Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Fundoes's Manfredo Xavier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the match, Fundoes's Manfredo Xavier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilmar de Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nilmar de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Válbson Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandii FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fundoes the free kick. A collision led to Mandii FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Válbson Mangueira hit a great ball. Manfredo Xaviers short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Nilmar de Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ricardinho Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar de Amorim having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Massa in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilmar de Amorim saved Mandii FC from getting behind. Ricardinho Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
