An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Sá in the 9th minute of play forced Cururipe's goalkeeper João Pedro Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro Fernandes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BR City FC's Cipriano Sá shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Ferreira in the 16th minute of play forced BR City FC's goalkeeper Daniel Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Cururipe's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Sá came free, but João Pedro Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BR City FC's Oséas Vander got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, BR City FC's Daniel Monteiro got control of the ball when Laerte Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Monteiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gilmar Teles. Cipriano Sá scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Pedro Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Paulo Lopez charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Paulo Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Pedro Paulo Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by João Vítor Tande in the 35th minute really tested Daniel Monteiro's skills. When Luiz Gustavo de Amorim got free in front of the goal in the 46th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. João Pedro Fernandes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cururipe getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Laerte Almeida hit a great ball. João Pedro Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo de Amorim in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, BR City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Vander to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Cururipe's Gilmar Teles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Pedro Fernandes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Gustavo de Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. After 65 played minutes Cururipe got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Ferreira. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised João Pedro Fernandes 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cururipe's zone, Cipriano Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Pedro Fernandes came out of the goal and Cipriano Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natã Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. João Pedro Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Cururipe's goalkeeper João Pedro Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Gustavo de Amorim. Reynaldo Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Romeu Cavalcante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cururipe's goalkeeper João Pedro Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Romeu Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. BR City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeu Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cipriano Sá came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the BR City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Sá couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Cipriano Sá left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BR City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. BR City FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
