Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Escadinha's Adelino Arruda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 minutes, David de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escadinha and the BR City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes BR City FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Vieira. If Cipriano Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Cipriano Sá notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Escadinha's Tomé Palmeira. Tomé Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Escadinha's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Sá came free, but Tomé Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Escadinha's David de Almeida got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tomé Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sá in the 38th minute of the match. Cipriano Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Palmeira having to interfere. Iuri Quaresma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Daniel Monteiro made a huge save. Reynaldo Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rogério Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tomé Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Rogério Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. BR City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to BR City FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Natã Favoretto hit a great ball. Iuri Quaresma's late challenge caught a BR City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iuri Quaresma helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Escadinha's zone, Nicolas Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé Palmeira came out of the goal and Nicolas Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Luiz Gustavo de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BR City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Gustavo de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, BR City FC's Reynaldo Vieira got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Cipriano Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Palmeira having to make a save. Escadinha's Tomé Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Escadinha from getting a goal against them. Escadinha's Iuri Quaresma got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Iuri Quaresma off the ground. A collision led to Escadinha getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Iuri Quaresma hit a great ball. Nicolas Trancoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomé Palmeira. Escadinha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
