Manoel Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raphael Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gualter Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Rialto SC's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Souza came free, but Gualter Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hernani Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raphael Souza came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Muriae EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Souza couldn't finish the play. If Hernani Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Raphael Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rialto SC's Manoel Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raphael Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Raphael Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualter Teles was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Rafael Carvalho's late challenge caught a Muriae EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Carvalho hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rialto SC's Manoel Cardozo got a free kick in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauan Velloso during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Kauan Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiaguinho Hermes. Muriae EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Manoel Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rialto SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manoel Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raphael Souza was the one to do the kick off. Manoel Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tiaguinho Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernani Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gualter Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rialto SC's zone, Raphael Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter Teles came out of the goal and Raphael Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raphael Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Aníbal Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rialto SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aníbal Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Hermes having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Muriae EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rialto SC.
