Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lenílson Paraíba started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Lenílson Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes, Queimadinha's Wilian Pereira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yan Simão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Queimadinha reached it. 8 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's Ramón Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anderson Neiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Pedro Paulo da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Real Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo da Silveira couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Lira during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Gabriel Lira got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ramón Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Real Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queimadinha the free kick. 26 minutes into the game, one of Real Madrid:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gabriel Lira got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Queimadinha booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Ramón Borges notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Queimadinha's Anderson Neiva. Anderson Neiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Paulo da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Queimadinha's Lenílson Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Simão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Anderson Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Anderson Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Gil Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Simão came out of the goal and Gil Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramón Borges's late challenge caught a Queimadinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Borges helped the player get up and apologised. Ramón Borges hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Borges in the 92nd minute of play forced Queimadinha's goalkeeper Anderson Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramón Borges struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Anderson Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid.
