Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arlindo Gomes kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Caxinaua getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Serafim Jacinto hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Arlindo Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Vasconcelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 10 minutes, Afonsinho Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caxinaua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonsinho Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guaraciaba SS's zone, Afonsinho Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Granda came out of the goal and Afonsinho Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arlindo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Vasconcelos having to interfere. When Renan de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Guaraciaba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan de Amorim couldn't finish the play. Rui Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Arlindo Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antônio Azevedo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Guaraciaba SS's Mehmet Ferit Şafakoğlu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 45th minute, Edinho Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulinho Vidal to make the kick off. Arlindo Gomes might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Vasconcelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arlindo Gomes ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edinho Zonta during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edinho Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Mehmet Ferit Şafakoğlu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caxinaua's Rui Vasconcelos didn't even have to move. In the 56th match minute, Caxinaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. When Renan de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Guaraciaba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan de Amorim couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes Caxinaua got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Cavalcante. Guaraciaba SS's Arlindo Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Caxinaua's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Gomes came free, but Rui Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlindo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Vasconcelos having to interfere. The supporters of Guaraciaba SS booed when Caxinaua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Arlindo Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caxinaua's Rui Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renan de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Vasconcelos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Renan de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaraciaba SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Gomes in the 89th minute of play forced Caxinaua's goalkeeper Rui Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlindo Gomes in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 minutes of play Caxinaua's Antônio Azevedo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Guaraciaba SS booed when Caxinaua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Guaraciaba SS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caxinaua throughout the match.
