With a little luck, Logrador AD's Orlando Vianna got control of the ball when Bebeto Vasconcelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Logrador AD's Orlando Vianna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Logrador AD from getting a goal against them. Valério Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Senna in the 9th minute of play. Moisés Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Valério Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Nuno Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Cassurova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. If Nilmar Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Senna in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Cassurova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Dias to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Logrador AD's Nilmar Campidelis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valério Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Logrador AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Hélio Freire scored to the left of an out of position Orlando Vianna, making the score, 1-0. Nilmar Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Moisés Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Logrador AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Aparecido couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes, Nilmar Campidelis made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cassurova's Valério Gaúcho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moisés Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Freire was the one to do the kick off. Nilmar Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moisés Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nildo Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nildo Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valério Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Campidelis in the 63rd minute of play. Ivo Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Gaúcho having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Dudu Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cassurova and the Logrador AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dudu Antunes hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Nilmar Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Gaúcho having to interfere. Logrador AD's Sidney de Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ivo Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cassurova's Hélio Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valério Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ivo Senna sent off a good shot on target. Moisés Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Cassurova's Hélio Freire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Vianna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivo Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Valério Gaúcho made a huge save. 89 minutes into the game, Nilmar Campidelis lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Valério Gaúcho. The supporters of Cassurova booed when Logrador AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ricardinho Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cassurova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilmar Campidelis got free with Valério Gaúcho in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Logrador AD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cassurova.
