Diamantino Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaguarari AD's Lino Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Matorin in the 5th minute of play. Paulinho de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington de Alcântara in the 9th minute of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alan de Queirós sped through Arrelia AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulinho de Amorim. Diamantino Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lino Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wellington Moreira during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Jaguarari AD got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Moreira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington de Alcântara in the 23rd minute of play forced Arrelia AD's goalkeeper Paulinho de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lino Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulinho de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan de Queirós in the 42nd minute of play. Ciro Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lino Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrelia AD. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ciro Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrelia AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Arrelia AD's zone, Alan de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulinho de Amorim came out of the goal and Alan de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Lino Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Ortiz in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Arrelia AD's Ciro Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Jaguarari AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Ortiz came free, but Lino Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Arrelia AD's Paulinho de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington de Alcântara in the 63rd minute of play. Ciro Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Nunes having to interfere. Lino Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Matorin in the 82nd minute of play. Ciro Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alan de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Arrelia AD's goalkeeper Paulinho de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan de Queirós. After 94 minutes, Francisco Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrelia AD and the Jaguarari AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisco Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
