Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cléber da Costa started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Derribadinha's goalkeeper Tibúrcio da Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alan de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Jaguarari AD got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Moreira. Alan de Queirós's late challenge caught a Derribadinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Jaguarari AD got a freekick which was hit by Alan de Queirós. Washington de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Trancoso went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd match minute, Jaguarari AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Derribadinha's Betão Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Derribadinha booed when Jaguarari AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Derribadinha's Cléber da Costa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Washington de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaguarari AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibúrcio da Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cléber da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Derribadinha's Tibúrcio da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington de Alcântara in the 40th minute of play. Jaguarari AD's Washington de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derribadinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaguarari AD the free kick. A collision led to Derribadinha getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alfredinho Paiva hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Washington de Alcântara to make the kick off. A collision led to Derribadinha getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. João Carlos Duarte hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Jaguarari AD's Wellington Moreira got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber da Costa in the 66th minute of play forced Jaguarari AD's goalkeeper Lino Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Jaguarari AD got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Moreira. If Cléber da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Derribadinha's zone, Alan de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibúrcio da Silva came out of the goal and Alan de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléber da Costa in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Nunes saved Jaguarari AD from getting behind. Jaguarari AD's Lino Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Jaguarari AD from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, João Carlos Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Derribadinha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mané Viana was slow to take the kick. During this time Jaguarari AD's players had a chance to rest. Tibúrcio da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington de Alcântara in the 94th minute of the match. Lino Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Derribadinha eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
