Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludomir Golembiewski kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Golembiewski got free with Paulinho de Amorim in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ludomir Golembiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Paulinho de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Ludomir Golembiewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulinho de Amorim. Arrelia AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludomir Golembiewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Arrelia AD's zone, Ludomir Golembiewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulinho de Amorim came out of the goal and Ludomir Golembiewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Fortaleza Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Ortiz came free, but Walmir Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Proença hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Rui Arantes struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Paulinho de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortaleza Esporte Clube. Ludomir Golembiewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulinho de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ludomir Golembiewski sent off a good shot on target. Walmir Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Fortaleza Esporte Clube's Ludomir Golembiewski in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arrelia AD's goalie prevented a goal. Francisco Tinoco hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Ludomir Golembiewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Arrelia AD's Paulinho de Amorim got control of the ball when Ludomir Golembiewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulinho de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Arantes in the 45th minute of the match. In the 50th minute of the match Gino Lucas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walmir Reis skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Luiz Fabiano Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortaleza Esporte Clube's protests and gave Luiz Fabiano Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Fortaleza Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Arrelia AD's Diamantino Matorin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walmir Reis. That made the score 1-1 after 60 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the match, Arrelia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Arantes came free, but Paulinho de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortaleza Esporte Clube's Ludomir Golembiewski got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Fortaleza Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Walmir Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Ortiz. Rui Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 78 minutes, Cássio Zago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortaleza Esporte Clube and the Arrelia AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arrelia AD booed when Fortaleza Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Zago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortaleza Esporte Clube's Walmir Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Matorin in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Arantes in the 81st minute of play forced Arrelia AD's goalkeeper Paulinho de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Zago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulinho de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Arrelia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Arantes came free, but Paulinho de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Ludomir Golembiewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulinho de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Rui Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho de Amorim having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ludomir Golembiewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho de Amorim having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fortaleza Esporte Clube had played much better football throughout.
