Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arthur Azevedo got the match started through his kick off. Digo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Vander in the 3rd minute of play. Ronaldinho Cabral hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Chicão Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frédson Zonta got free with Digo Moreira in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Vivaldo Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arthur Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Jangraguera SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Vivaldo Amorim struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Celsinho Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jangraguera SS. 27 minutes into the match, Duro EC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Azevedo came free, but Celsinho Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Duro EC's zone, Vivaldo Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Nóbrega came out of the goal and Vivaldo Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Simão Messias made a precise shot to the right of Celsinho Nóbrega. Duro EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 35 played minutes Duro EC got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Aguiar. Frédson Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Vivaldo Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Carlos Vander made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Zonta in the 51st minute of play forced Jangraguera SS's goalkeeper Digo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Duro EC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Vander hit a great ball. When Frédson Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Duro EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Zonta couldn't finish the play. If Antônio Carlos Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Duro EC booed when Jangraguera SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Jangraguera SS's Vivaldo Amorim got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Carlos Vander in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Digo Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Frédson Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Digo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Richard Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Celsinho Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celsinho Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Jangraguera SS's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Zonta came free, but Digo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
