Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sílvio Luís Nóbrega took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Picos booed when Jangraguera SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Azevedo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raí da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Jangraguera SS's Vivaldo Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raí da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digo Moreira having to interfere. Zé Dantas in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Digo Moreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raí da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Amorim in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Gino Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raí da Silveira skillfully saved the ball. Sílvio Luís Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Digo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Digo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Nóbrega in the 45th minute of play. When Ronaldinho Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jangraguera SS's protests and gave Ronaldinho Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Jangraguera SS got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Cabral.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Zé Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Dantas in the 66th minute of play forced Jangraguera SS's goalkeeper Digo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jangraguera SS's goalkeeper Digo Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Arthur Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Jangraguera SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Rafael Leite got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 83 played minutes Picos got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Leite. Arthur Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arthur Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Picos's Raí da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Picos from getting a goal against them.
