Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Indai's Júlio Freire started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Júlio Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bate's zone, Júlio Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney de Senna came out of the goal and Júlio Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Freire in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Furtado in the 11th minute of play forced Bate's goalkeeper Sidney de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bate getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jardel Duarte hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doriva Tande got free with Gonçalo Batista in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rubinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Bate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Tande to maneuver through the defense. Indai's Gonçalo Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho de Barros in the 24th minute of play. Sidney de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Freire in the 27th minute of the match. Marcinho Mazza's late challenge caught a Bate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcinho Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. Marcinho Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Wilson Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sidney de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Bate's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Freire came free, but Sidney de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Rubinho de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bate's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubinho de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Freire struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Sidney de Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indai.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubinho de Barros to make the kick off. Sidney de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Freire's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. If Wilson Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Freire in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, Arlindo Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Indai the free kick. Wilson Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney de Senna having to interfere. When Rubinho de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Bate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho de Barros couldn't finish the play. Willian Furtado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gonçalo Batista. Indai's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wilson Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sidney de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. The Indai players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bate from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
