Pagem SC's Zé Augusto Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo das Neves in the 7th minute of play. If Téo das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wellington Simão during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thiago Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Conquista's goal looked a bit too open when César Sarmento came free, but Tarcisio Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Téo das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conquista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarcisio Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Koehler in the 26th minute. César Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tarcisio Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Conquista's goal looked a bit too open when César Sarmento came free, but Tarcisio Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Pagem SC's Tarcisio Carneiro threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from César Sarmento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 42 minutes into the match, Conquista's goalkeeper Tarcisio Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Koehler. In the 43rd minute Téo das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pagem SC's César Sarmento in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conquista's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Téo das Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renato Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Téo das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Téo das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute César Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pagem SC's César Sarmento in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tarcisio Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Artur Koehler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tarcisio Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tarcisio Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Sarmento in the 79th minute of the match. César Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Carneiro having to interfere. César Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Carneiro having to interfere. Conquista's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
