Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cícero Amaral started the match with the kick off. Juan Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Yuri Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Conquista booed when Cavalcante F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes, Vítor de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conquista and the Cavalcante F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vítor de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Conquista's goalkeeper Tarcisio Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamim Marinho. 24 minutes into the match, Gabriel Faustino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Bertassi. Cavalcante F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Faustino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gabriel Faustino struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Toninho Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conquista. In the 36th match minute, Cavalcante F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Amaral to maneuver through the defense. When Yuri Pena fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conquista's protests and gave Yuri Pena a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cavalcante F. C. booed when Conquista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Cícero Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavalcante F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cícero Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conquista's Vítor de Barros got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Vítor de Barros off the ground. Vítor de Barros hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Cícero Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Cícero Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tarcisio Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the Conquista defense, Benjamim Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarcisio Carneiro. The Conquista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarcisio Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Tarcisio Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero Amaral's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Tarcisio Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agostinho Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Conquista got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Cavalcante. Cavalcante F. C.'s Renato Rosado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Conquista. Cícero Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamim Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Cícero Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conquista's Tarcisio Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Téo das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gabriel Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Toninho Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cícero Amaral in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcisio Carneiro saved Conquista from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Cavalcante F. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
