Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off. Providencia's Iuri Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Breckenfeld in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Providencia getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Roberto Furtado hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Deivid Vieira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iuri Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Velasco in the 8th minute of play forced Providencia's goalkeeper Iuri Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Velasco in the 15th minute of play forced Providencia's goalkeeper Iuri Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hernani Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Curupira EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernani Velasco couldn't finish the play. Fred Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Barbosa having to interfere. A collision led to Providencia getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lúcio Chaves hit a great ball. Iuri Barbosa came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Curupira EC's Fred Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Fred Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Erik Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Providencia's Iuri Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Breckenfeld in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vladimir Linhares to make the kick off. Iuri Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Hernani Velasco took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iuri Barbosa. Iuri Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Fred Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Hernani Velasco could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Iuri Barbosa however easily saved by the left post. Hernani Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curupira EC's Dito Silva suffered a sore thigh after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Belchior Melo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belchior Melo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Belchior Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Iuri Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernani Velasco went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Hernani Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Wesley Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Hernani Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curupira EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to Curupira EC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fred Breckenfeld hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Lúcio Chaves in the 91st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Pedrinho Andrade's left hand side. Hernani Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Iuri Barbosa made a huge save. Curupira EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
