If Cristóvão Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iuri Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Tinoco in the 78th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Providencia got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Lara. When Didi Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Marcelina AD fans jumped to their feet. Iuri Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Erik Bertassi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Betinho Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
