Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fred Breckenfeld got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Nilmar Paraibano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curupira EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marcelina AD the free kick. Nilmar Paraibano hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Anísio Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, Marcelina AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Betinho Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Breckenfeld's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Hernani Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho Urbano having to interfere. Rubinho Botelho's late challenge caught a Curupira EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubinho Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. Rubinho Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Fred Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Betinho Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fred Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Andrade came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Marcelina AD's Cristóvão Paranaense. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcelina AD's Marquinhos Ribeiro suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel de Souza during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joel de Souza hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fred Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Betinho Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Marcelina AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Breckenfeld came free, but Betinho Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betinho Urbano was a little too slow when Fred Breckenfeld got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the game, Hernani Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Betinho Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Betinho Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Breckenfeld in the 59th minute of play. When Curupira EC's Fred Breckenfeld in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marcelina AD's goalie prevented a goal. Dito Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Fred Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Marcelina AD's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Velasco came free, but Betinho Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelina AD's Betinho Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Breckenfeld in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Curupira EC booed when Marcelina AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Marcelina AD's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Velasco came free, but Betinho Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Velasco in the 92nd minute of play forced Marcelina AD's goalkeeper Betinho Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelina AD's Betinho Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Breckenfeld in the 93rd minute of play. If Hernani Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curupira EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
