Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Régis Mesquita got the match started through his kick off. After 8 played minutes Lombas SC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Montenegro. In the 8th minute, José Maria Catarinense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lombas SC's Ivo Fontes didn't even have to move. Kiko Messias's late challenge caught a Lombas SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Messias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, PEGARU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Messias to maneuver through the defense. Maurinho Tande made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Albertinho Barros sent off a good shot on target. If Eliseu Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Goiano in the 27th minute of play forced PEGARU FC's goalkeeper Maurinho Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Mesquita's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lombas SC's zone, Régis Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Fontes came out of the goal and Régis Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute of the match Inácio Rodrigues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivo Fontes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Régis Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Ivo Fontes. Lombas SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eliseu Goiano scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 48 minutes into the match, PEGARU FC's Régis Mesquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivo Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseu Goiano made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Mesquita in the 56th minute of play forced Lombas SC's goalkeeper Ivo Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, José Maria Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match César Sabóia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurinho Tande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Severino Botelho fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lombas SC's protests and gave Severino Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Severino Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Régis Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Artur Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Peres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Ivo Fontes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Albertinho Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurinho Tande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Régis Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Fontes having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lombas SC! If Régis Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lombas SC's Valdo Pereira got a free kick in the 94th minute. Severino Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Albertinho Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurinho Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Lombas SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
