Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Ferraz kicked off to start the match. Dráusio Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Silva having to interfere. Toninho Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Itapaje getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Amauri Esteves hit a great ball. Luizinho Barros came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Itapaje's David Barros. But to his dismay, David Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Schmidt in the 24th minute of play forced Itapaje's goalkeeper Toninho Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Itapaje booed when Itaio EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedê Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Toninho Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, João Ferraz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luizinho Barros. The goal made the score 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dráusio Schmidt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizinho Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Leonardo Araújo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Itapaje's Juan Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 62 minutes of play, Itapaje's João Ferraz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizinho Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, David Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapaje's supporters rose to their feet, but David Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizinho Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 played minutes Itapaje got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Costa. Dadá Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Toninho Silva acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Valdir Novaes. If David Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Barros having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, David Barros notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Itaio EC's Luizinho Barros. Luizinho Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Itapaje fully deserved thier win.
