After having played for 28 minutes, Carlos Augusto Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adolfo Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrianinho Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrianinho Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Itirapina getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Adrianinho Gerber hit a great ball. In the 49th minute, Eugênio Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio Hoffmann made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Itirapina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Augusto Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Eugênio Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
