Nuporanga SC's Cafu Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Lino Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulysses Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Souto in the 22nd minute of the match. Ulysses Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Souto's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Luiz Fernando Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Souto in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Perez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tibúrcio Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. João Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
